Oracle Database Administrator

The Oracle Database Administrator's tasks include tuning databases, designing and implementing, systems configuration, planning, and product installation. 

Qualifications

Evaluation of proposed MS SQL Database Administrator will include the determination  of experience and technical education in the following areas: 3 years DBA experience with MS SQL Server (7.0), 3 years  networking (client/server) environment, and 2 years work experience using DTS Package. Must also have hands-on experience with performance, backup and recovery, design and implementation. The successful candidate will also have 3+ years of Oracle Database Administration, experience with Oracle 8 or above, installation and configuration of Oracle on NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 environment.

Experience in database modeling and CASE tools, multi-platform database integration and data conversion from legacy systems.
