SQL Database Administrator/Specialists
MS
SQL Database Administration is responsible for implementing and
maintaining large-scale, mission-critical
databases. This position guides the development team’s
use of
database technology. The candidate
will be expected to undertake MS SQL Database Administration
support, including problem determination, system tuning , system
configuration, planning, and product
installation.
Evaluation
of proposed MS SQL Database Administrator will include the
determination of experience and technical education in the
following areas: 3 years DBA experience with MS SQL Server (7.0),
3 years networking (client/server) environment, and 2 years
work experience using DTS Package. Must also have hands-on experience
with performance, backup and recovery, design and
implementation.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have
experience using Analysis Services, database modeling and CASE
tools, multi-platform database integration and experience in data
conversion from legacy systems to new systems.
