Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
To achieve Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) on Microsoft
Windows 2000, candidates are required to pass three core exams and
one Microsoft elective exam. The elective exam requirement can
also be satisfied with a combination of two CompTIA certifications
(A+ and either Network+ or Server+). Once you have achieved these
CompTIA certifications, you are well on your way to achieving the
MCSA certification.

Objectives:
To train individual and professionals for MCSA certification, as well as
acquire the skills needed to implement, manage, and troubleshoot
existing network and system environments based on the Microsoft
Windows 2000 platform. Implementation responsibilities include
installing and configuring parts of the systems. Management
responsibilities include administering and supporting the systems.
Prerequisite:
Participants
should be familiar with basic computing,
networking and other operating systems.

Steps in applying your CompTIA credentials towards the MCSA
certification:
1)The MCP ID number is provided by e-mail after taking an
exam (regardless of whether you passed or failed the exam), or by
contacting a Microsoft Regional Education Service Center (http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/support/worldsites.asp)
for assistance.
2) Use the online
CompTIA MCSA Candidate Information form to submit your CompTIA
A+ credential plus either your CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Server+
credential, and your MCP ID number. To access the online form,

3) CompTIA will verify your credentials and forward your
