Information Systems Security

Serve as an Information Security Specialist participating in the management and Implementation of Arlington County’s Information Security program. This position requires the ability to diagnose and solve system-to-network configuration and interconnectivity issues. Must be familiar with mail- host , web server, and router set-up and configuration. Position will be dealing with the integration of INFOSEC associated with LAN/WAN, firewall, audit and compliance, multi-platform security architecture, Intranet, Internet and Extranet security design.

Qualifications

Desirable experience with Integration and operation of CISCOPIX firewalls, CISCO IDS and Symatec’s Norton Anti-Virus, in a mult-iprotocol multitopology environment.  Extensive knowledge of hubs, router access list switches, Novell, NT and UNIX servers 5+ years of work experience in client/server environment. Certification as Information System Auditor (CISA) or Information systems Security Professional (CISSP).
